The 2017 Toyota Highlander Release Date is Coming Soon

If you’ve been looking for a unique take on the midsize crossover SUV, then the 2017 Toyota Highlander is likely to please thanks to its confident performance and a wide range of updates for this model year. A new V6 powertrain, more standard safety features, and a spacious, well-equipped cabin are among a few of the highlights. Find out what it has to offer before the release date arrives and it hits the lot at Little Apple Toyota Honda.

New Look

The 2017 Toyota Highlander’s exterior has been significantly updated to promote its impressive performance. A facelift to the front grille includes several parallel and horizontal lines to emphasize its imposing presence, while available LED front headlights, 19-inch alloy sport wheels, black leather upholstery in the cabin, and three new available colors increase the styling options.

Performance

The 2017 Toyota Highlander returns with an all-new powertrain option this year. A more fuel-efficient 3.5L V6 with direct injection technology will be offered with an auto stop/start system that conserves fuel while you’re idling. The 2.7L inline-four will still come standard, and you’ll have the option of front-wheel and all-wheel drive.

Cabin Design

The 2017 Toyota Highlander will feature three rows of seats and standard seating for up to eight passengers. There will also be a version of the Highlander with second-row captain’s chairs, increasing comfort for adults in the middle while decreasing the passenger capacity to seven. There will also be a significant amount of storage in back, along with more cargo room when you fold the second and third rows flat.
