Toyota Announces Automatic Emergency Braking for 2017 Models

In March 2016, Toyota announced Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) will be offered as a standard feature on a majority of their cars, crossovers, trucks, and SUVs, beginning with the 2017 model year. AEB will be included with Toyota Safety Sense systems designed to help prevent collisions before they occur.

These high tech safety systems from the expert engineers at Toyota will include pre-collision, lane departure and automatic high-beam features for enhanced nighttime driving. All of these systems work in tandem to make Toyota vehicles among the safest available in and around the Manhattan, KS area.

Currently, Automatic Emergency Braking is only available on high-end trim packages. Dedicated to helping prevent and reduce as many collisions as possible, AEB will be available as a standard feature on most of the models offered by Toyota.
